Since the only files I modded was "terrain.png", there is really no need to put it into a .rar and have it be selectable in the main menu. In order to install, you need to go to "Application Data" which can be done on a PC with Run -> %appdata% -> .minecraft -> bin -> Use WinRAR to "Open With" on the "minecraft.jar" file.
